Equinox Sound Ceremony

This time of year is about finding balance and celebrating the harvest. This ceremony will be a chance to connect with the energy of the equinox, also traditionally known as Mabon, to appreciate the season of life we're in together. The Equinox is a time to address balance in life as we enter the darker months of the year, with Mabon also allowing us to celebrate the harvest the sun has provided us with to nourish us through the long winter. The ceremony will include time for guided meditation, self reflection and journalling, mini card readings, crystalline sound healing and traditional chanting, and will be led by Rebecca Lovatt, sound healer, astrologer and harmony weaver.

5-5:15pm - Arrive & energies introduction (astrology, equinox, about Mabon as a traditional ceremony, introduction to rituals for the season)

5:15-5.40pm - Guided meditation, journalling, card pulling (oracle cards) and quiet time to reflect on the energies on a personal level and celebrate their own harvest, this sometimes turns into a sharing circle and celebration of each other, depends on the group.

5:40 - 6:00pm - Creating sound together (I have rattles, drums etc for people to have a go on). A combination of mantra (kirtan style) and traditional songs (to tie in with Mabon). People can either listen and receive, shake their rattles, or sing along. No pressure. We energise.

6:00-6.20pm - receiving sound. Sound bath with the bowls and healing harmonies to gently wind down the energy and 'cement' it. We release and hold.
